DTF stands for Direct To Film. This technique involves printing your design directly onto a film and then transferring it to a T-shirt made of cotton, polyester, or their blends, regardless of their colour.
What file format should my artwork be?
300 DPI PNG file with a transparent background with a CMYK color mode.
How to convert to a CMYK color mode?
To convert to a CMYK profile, you will need to utilize a design program such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw or similar.
What temp do you use for DTF transfers?
The basic instructions for pressing DTF transfers are: Pre-heat your heat press to the recommended temperature (usually 300°F). Place the DTF printed transfer face down on the garment and cover with a silicone sheet or parchment paper. Apply medium pressure (40-60 PSI) for 15-20 seconds.
